You call that crap valuable? those are common gifts for me and I think they are crap. Valuable would be the mini's or the weapons and the rock candies. Something useful in the game not some kids toys like bottle rockets.

Queen, to some, those bottle rockets are very valuable. You must not realize how many people are actually working on the obscure titles like "Party Animal" in order to obtain the elusive GWAMM "uber" title. The bottle rockets, champagne poppers and sparklers can be sold sometimes for 150g each and more, making the 10 that you get worth a tidy sum. I've even seen people willing to pay 200g each.

Even if you buy Nicholas' Gifts for 4.5-5k each, with a little bit of patience you can easily get your investment back with very little work...sometime double your investment and more.

So, crap? I don't think so. Free gold, for very little work is still free gold.

I stopped playing for quite a bit longer than that, came back, and still get nothing exciting. So maybe it is just random after all. I am always amazed that people don't get the definition of random.

Well this is the best nicholas farm so far in my opinion. Made 400k selling these so far. Price finally seems to be dropping below 3k though, so I think I had enough fun .

I really did Queen... Farmed them very easily with the quest I mentioned in a previous post. Second account with quest was zone monkey and first account spirits spam 11 djinns in 1-1.5 minute, rezone, repeat. When I had 5 essences I zoned to Venta Cemetery, said WTS 5 essences 15k and sold them within 10 seconds. Only the last couple of hours it takes a little longer. Very profitable farm indeed. You can be sceptical but I know what my xunlai storage looks like. Also, there's more money in it, because in that time I got 9 (!) zealous scythe snathes, which can fetch 7k each, and many more mods. Like Premium says, people can't be arsed to farm them themselves.

The drop rate is horrible, 4 runs of the Djinn in Fahranur yielded 0 stones, for anyone with patience and a Derv that hasn't yet farmed them;

Avatar of Balthazar, Balthazar's Spirit, Faithful Intervention, Mystic Regeneration, Eremite's Attack, Crippling Sweep, Ear Bite, Eternal Aura

You can keep up AoB to get to the Djinn with a constant 33% run speed then just hack away with Eremite's, Crippling and Ear Bite.

That was the best place for me.

I didn't like getting past the boss, running from Desolation gate... so I ran from Venta Cemetary all the way up to the north-east area. Ignored all mobs on the way - they break aggro easily if you have +33% IMS, and can't kill you. (Cupcake + green candy FTW)

Kill up to 15 water djinns each time (the Maelstrom Djinns drop water djinn essences). I used spirit spam + EVAS + Summon Ruby Djinn. Easy, and pretty quick. Didn't take long to get 10 essences.

Last week I got the unusual great drop rates of 5-6 stones and 10-15 roots per run but this week has been terrible so I guess the luck just moves around. I remember last week some of the people complaining about sorry drop rates for them. I got my 5 this week but it was the most boring farm I've had in a long time. I think I could have made the same amount of money in less time just farming feathers and granite.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but how the hell do the people who find Nicholas do it so quickly and post it on the wiki, like literally 2-3 minutes after 12:00? It's even faster than the people who post the new daily zquests.

Because there are 100's of thousands of players awry and well someone out of that many just happen to be in that area where he is simply mathematical probabilities.

And people don't post the daily zquests because they are completely predictable. Check the other wiki for a peek ahead zquest wise (week peek).
